Lauren and Jason's Wedding at Ashton Gardens, Houston

The other day I was hanging out with Jason and Lauren at Starbucks, and I got to thinkin' I never made a post about their wedding! Which is a cryin' shame because their wedding was awesome!

Lauren had her hair done by the fine folks over at Blue Mambo in the art district of Houston. It was a great atmosphere, and stylists rocked.

They were married over at Ashton Gardens on the north side of Houston a while back. It was a wonderful place to get married. It was beautiful and secluded which can be hard to find around Houston. The thing I could not get over was all the windows in the chapel. It made my job easier. There was a lot of soft directional light.

There was so much emotion. There were tears and laughter during the ceremony, and you can see that these two are definitely meant to be.

The first dance!

They had photographs from their engagement session all over the place. Every time I would turn around I would see another. I was very flattered.

Cara and Nolan Tie the Knot

Okay, first off I had a wonderful time this weekend photographing the wedding of Cara and Nolan. Rhonda and Jackie thank you so much for taking such good care of me. For the person who was so kind to tie my shoe... Thank you! LOL!

Lauryn and Jared - Chattanooga, TN

I want to give a big Arg! to Lauryn and Jared! What can I say.... hmmmm.... I really had a good time with the wedding of these two! I experienced a lot of new things. Lets start with the sword fight between the lucky couple during the reception. There was also a belly dancing performance. Lauryn is a very talented belly dancer herself and gave an impressive demonstration of the art form. Then there was the hug fire across the street.

I mean wow! These two know how to make a statement. Seriously, they had an awesome wedding. I feel lucky to be part of their day. Here is a little preview for you all!

My middle daughter had drawn this for me. She left this drawing for me on my desk. It is funny because I do not see them for a while then one will pop up on my desk. This one showed up when I was cleaning the office today.

Even More Changes - This Time with Pictage

For some of you this will not be much of a change for others it will be a big deal. As a way to help boost my production I will now use Pictage exclusively. With the roll out of their new website they have filled several gaps that I was looking for. All weddings in the up coming weeks will be uploaded to Pictage. Once there they will be up for 90 days.

This move represents a way to decrease production times, and the system can manage the large quantities of orders I receive flawlessly.

If you are a 2006 bride your wedding will be eventually uploaded to Pictage and you will receive an email on how to access your images. For now you can still access your images the same way you always have.

This is great beacuse it will streamline my workflow tremendously. Pictage produces wonderful product and has a wonderful customer service. As a Pictage photographer it represents more of a partnership than a lab simply fulfilling orders.
